Role Overview & Scope

The Warehouse Stock Clerk plays a key operational role in maintaining warehouse efficiency, ensuring accurate stock records, facilitating smooth goods receiving, managing self-collect orders, and upholding a well-organized, safe warehouse floor.

Key Areas & Responsibilities

  • Stock Accuracy & Inventory Control: Maintain precise inventory records and monitor stock movements across the warehouse.
  • Receiving & Goods Inspection: Inspect inbound shipments, verify delivered items against manifests, and log incoming stock.
  • Cycle Counts & Reconciliation: Conduct regular stock cycle counts and perform reconciliation to eliminate inventory discrepancies.
  • Self-Collect Customer Orders: Organize, verify, and dispatch orders designated for self-collect customers accurately and efficiently.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Enforce warehouse safety protocols and ensure a clean, well-organized floor environment.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Practical background in warehouse operations, stock keeping, or inventory control.
  • Core Competencies: High attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, organizational ability, and familiarization with inventory management processes.
  • Safety Compliance: Understanding of workplace safety, stock handling procedures, and warehouse housekeeping standards.
