Role Purpose
This role will support the implementation and scale-up of digital health initiatives in Kenya by providing technical leadership and coordinating effectively with government, technology partners, and cross-functional Living Goods teams. The role ensures the quality and successful delivery, adoption, performance, and sustainability of digital health solutions through effective implementation planning, technical oversight, risk and issue management, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement. The role also contributes to national digital health initiatives by representing Living Goods in technical working groups, supporting alignment with government priorities and standards, and translating implementation insights into practical improvements in digital health systems and service delivery.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related fields.
Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies
ITIL, PMP/Prince2, Agile/Scrum, Data Analytics, AI or any relevant ICT certifications
Experience needed
Work experience is required.
Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in Digital Health, health systems strengthening, ICT4D, or large-scale digital transformation programs.
At least 3–5 years of experience managing Digital Health or ICT implementation programs with government stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience supporting deployment and operational management of large-scale digital platforms serving frontline workers or public service delivery programs.
Experience working with national and county governments, development partners, donors, and implementing organizations.

- Collaborate with government, partners, and LG teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and continuously improve Community Health digital systems, ensuring effective implementation, timely resolution of issues, and improved service delivery.
- Participate in implementation planning meetings, technical working sessions, and progress reviews to track actions and address implementation challenges.
- Ensure the technical quality and rigor of projects with clear objectives and deliverables.
- Facilitate review and validation of system designs, configurations, integrations, reports, dashboards, and workflows with national and county stakeholders.
- Coordinate implementation readiness activities, including deployment planning, infrastructure readiness, training preparation, support arrangements, and transition planning.
- Monitor implementation progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating and coordinating resolution with MOH, Counties, technology partners and LG teams as required.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly DH Kenya reports and represent Digital Health in scheduled internal meetings to provide updates on progress and risks
- Maintain productive working relationships with national government stakeholders, implementing partners, donors, and technology partners.
- Contribute to alignment of Digital Health solutions with government policies & regulations, standards, enterprise architecture, interoperability requirements, and strategic priorities.
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal, government and partner engagements.
- Represent the LG Digital Health team in external engagements and workshops as required.
- Represent LG in technical working groups for national digital health initiatives
- Work closely with LG engineering, Innovations teams, government and partners to ensure digital health solutions meet user and Community Health Program requirements.
- Contribute to system design discussions, product enhancement prioritization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support documentation and dissemination of lessons learned and implementation best practices.
