Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and organized Stores Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient stock rotation, maintaining accurate records, and supervising store staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all inventory movements.
- Implement and maintain stock rotation policies (FIFO/LIFO).
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Supervise, train, and motivate store staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Liaise with procurement and production departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Stores Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.
