Background

An EABL Distributor in Kiambu county -Ruiru Town is seeking to recruit a diligent and organized Stores Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient management of stocks, storage, and issuance of stocks, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and record incoming UDV products.
  • Issue items to production or other departments as per authorized requisitions.
  • Daily morning stocktake of returnable from sales trucks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the stores management system.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in periodic stocktaking exercises.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of goods to prevent damage or loss.
  • Prepare and submit inventory and usage reports to the Finance and Sales Director.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the store area.
  • Comply with all company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of a Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in a similar stores or warehouse role.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Computer literacy, especially in MS Excel and inventory systems.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
