JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Montran’s software solutions as part of a delivery team
- Conduct testing, QA and document deliverables
- Maintain and support existing systems
- Collaborate closely with team members in Nairobi and cross-office teams
- Work under the direction of the Lead/Senior Software Engineer to deliver projects on time and to specification
Requirements
- 2–4 years’ professional experience as a Java Software Engineer
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and software engineering fundamentals
- Proficiency in Java, with knowledge of Jakarta EE and Spring Boot as a plus
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of web technologies and OOP principles
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to follow direction
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; Master’s or additional certifications are a plus

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
