You'll contribute to building scalable solutions that directly impact healthcare accessibility and quality.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain software features supporting healthcare claims processing systems using modern programming languages, frameworks, and engineering best practices.
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code following established coding standards and secure software development principles.
  • Implement business logic supporting claims adjudication, eligibility verification, provider management, and reimbursement workflows.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services within a distributed application architecture.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions while providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Develop solutions supporting healthcare interoperability standards including EDI X12, HL7, and FHIR.
  • Implement data validation, transformation, and processing logic for healthcare claims and transactional data.
  • Develop integration components supporting real-time and batch processing of claims, provider, and member data.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across integrated systems and healthcare platforms.
  • Support integrations with external healthcare partners, insurers, clearinghouses, payment platforms, and regulatory systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure adequate test coverage, defect resolution, and product quality.
  • Participate in system testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices where applicable.
  • Support debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues while performing root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with Senior Software Engineers, Technical Architects, Engineering Managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Participate in technical knowledge-sharing sessions and continuously build expertise in healthcare technologies and industry standards.
  • Monitor application performance, implement logging and observability features, and respond to production alerts.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations and assist with critical incident resolution where required.
  • Support software deployments, release management activities, and environment maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, API documentation, and knowledge repositories.

What we're looking for
