About the role:

The role holder will be in- charge of ensuring that all Sun King branded retail outlets consistently meet defined brand standards across signage, visibility, in-store experience, and material quality. This role focuses on auditing, compliance tracking and continuous improvement of retail branding execution across the network.

What you would be expected to do:

Shop Branding Audits & Compliance

  • Conduct field audits of Sun King branded shops when vendor branding is on-going and at the end of the branding process to conduct an audit check.
  • Verify correct installation and usage of branding materials (signage, wall branding. window decals & complete product installation.
  • Ensure alignment with brand guidelines (logo usage, colours, messaging, layout).
  • Identify & document gaps, inconsistencies or damaged branding elements during the vendor branding process & ensure correction is addressed with the vendor.
  • Course correction initiatives are to be documented.

Quality Assurance Process Execution

  • Implement standardized QA checklists and audit frameworks.
  • Capture photographic evidence and detailed reports for each outlet visit with time stamp.
  • Score shops based on compliance metrics and defined QA benchmarks.
  • Track vendor adherence to branding SLAs and installation standards.
  • Issue Identification & Resolution
  • Flag and document branding defects, poor installations or unauthorized modifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors, installers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed within timelines.

Data Collection & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of shop audit results in digital tools or dashboards.
  • Evaluate trends in compliance, regional performance, and recurring issues.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Assist with performance scorecards for vendors and field teams.

Vendor & Field Team Coordination

  • Work closely with branding vendors, installers, and field sales teams.
  • Assist onboarding and training of vendors on branding standards.
  • Monitor vendor performance and adherence to quality expectations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend improvements to branding materials, installation processes and QA frameworks.
  • Contribute to cost optimization by identifying inefficiencies or rework drivers.
  • Assist with pilot programs for new branding formats or retail concepts.

You would be a strong candidate if you have:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field with 2–5 years’ experience in field marketing, retail execution, merchandising, or QA roles.
  • Strong experience in retail branding, merchandising, and trade marketing, with a focus on maintaining brand consistency and visual quality standards.
  • Proficiency in data collection and reporting tools such as ODK, KoboToolbox, Excel, or mobile audit applications, with basic data evaluation capability.
  • High level of accuracy and quality control, with the ability to assess visual standards and ensure compliance across multiple locations.
  • Strong problem-solving, field execution, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work alone and manage multiple sites.
  • Highly disciplined, process-guided, comfortable with extensive travel and fieldwork, and able to balance speed, cost, and quality in execution.
