Egerton University is hiring a Senior Lecturer to supervise student research, develop academic curricula and contribute to academic leadership and institutional development. The role is based in Nakuru and supervision of a minimum of two post-graduate students is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student research
• Develop academic curricula
• Contribute to academic leadership and institutional development
• Supervision of a minimum of two post-graduate students

Qualifications

• An earned PhD in Environmental Law from a recognised university.
• Have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or research/industry as Lecturer. OR i. Master’s degree in Environmental Law from a recognised university.
• A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed journals.
• Have supervised a minimum of two (2) post-graduate students to completion as a Lecturer.
• Be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
• Have the minimum points required for each activity.
