Background

HCS Affiliates Group, is a one-stop human resources and management consultancy organization, headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya.

Role Objective

To provide strategic leadership in aligning the human capital with organizational business model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Capability Design: Lead the design of a 2-year Internal Skills & Competency Framework tailored to achieve a 50% reduction in operational costs and a 100% return on investment for small-scale tea holders.
  • Succession & Talent Pipeline: Design and implement succession plans across all levels with bias/strength to middleclass and senior management.
  • Coaching and Mentorship: Develop a coaching and mentorship program
  • Change Management: Formulate a defined corporate governance structure and a "workforce transformation roadmap" that shifts the organizational culture to be result-based and people-centric.
  • Automation Impact Assessment: Produce high-level analytical reports on roles negatively impacted by automation currently and over the next five years.
  • Skills gap Analysis: Conduct skills gaps analysis against set competencies and design competency maps/frameworks

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s Degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Strategic Management.
  • Professional Standing: Mandatory valid certification and active membership with IHRM Kenya.
  • Experience: At least 10-15 years of experience with 3+ reference letters from organizations where you managed skills gap analysis for over 500 employees.
  • Sector Expertise: Extensive experience in the Private Sector and FMCG, with a focus on large-scale agricultural or manufacturing entities.
  • Technology Experience: AI and software analysis
  • Strong Report writing skills
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering as a consultant in referenced key responsibilities for a wide range of clients in the last 5 years.
