Senior Cybersecurity
We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Specialist responsible for protecting the organization's systems, networks, and digital assets against cyber threats. This professional will lead vulnerability identification, security control implementation, and incident response efforts, directly contributing to the company's resilience and business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate identified cybersecurity incidents and risks.
- Assess operational impacts resulting from security control failures.
- Develop, monitor, and present cybersecurity metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) within their area of responsibility.
- Respond to security incidents and provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
- Communicate business impacts and recommend remediation actions to decision-makers.
- Participate in the definition, update, and approval of security procedures and systems.
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to proactively mitigate business risks.
- Contribute to organizational resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination on security-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer, Security Analyst, System Administrator, or in similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
- Experience implementing or administering security tools such as:
- SIEM
- IDS/IPS
- Firewalls
- Endpoint Protection
- Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and ISO.
- Experience or knowledge of automation using Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
