Background
Our client, a multi-stakeholder public-private partnership (PPP) organization mandated to coordinate and promote the development of Kenya’s potato subsector, is seeking a highly skilled and technically grounded Seed Potato Officer to strengthen Kenya’s seed potato value chain.
This position plays a critical role in driving seed production excellence, ensuring certified seed availability, and supporting the development of a sustainable potato seed ecosystem nationwide.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on field practitioner with strong technical knowledge of potato cultivation, seed production systems, and stakeholder coordination. Someone who can blend expertise, field leadership, and strategic insight to improve productivity and enhance access to high-quality seed varieties.
