JOB SUMMARY

Our client, a reputable company in the oil and lubricants industry, is seeking a results-driven Lubricant Sales Representative to drive market expansion and revenue growth across Kenya. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and promoting a range of lubricant products including engine oils, hydraulic oils, and greases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new customers including garages, workshops, transport companies, PSV SACCOs, spare parts shops, and industrial clients.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B and trade accounts, ensuring consistent sales growth and customer retention.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective territory management.
  • Provide technical product advice, conduct product demonstrations, and train customers on proper lubricant usage.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments, providing insights to management.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates.
  • Coordinate with depots and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
  • Represent the company professionally in the market and strengthen brand presence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in lubricants, automotive, or industrial products.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Solid understanding of lubricants, automotive systems, or industrial machinery.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with field-based sales work.
  • Valid driving license (mandatory)
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
