Our client, a fast growing fast food restaurant, is looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager to manage the day to day operations of the restaurant and help scale the business.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, someone practical, proactive, and comfortable leading a team. The ideal candidate must be Kenyan have experience in the hospitality sector and is willing to relocate to Dare salaam.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure fast service, consistent food quality, and smooth workflow
- Take full ownership of inventory management, including stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste
- Monitor costs closely (food, labour, and supplies) and take action to improve efficiency and profitability
- Recruit, train, schedule, and actively manage staff across front and back of house
- Coordinate kitchen and service teams to avoid delays and improve speed of service
- Step in wherever needed during peak hours and lead the team under pressure
Key Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in fast food or high-volume restaurant operations, ideally in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in a startup or growing business is highly preferred — ability to build structure, adapt quickly, and take initiative
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and hold a team accountable
- Solid understanding of inventory management, cost control, and daily operations
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
