Job Summary
The Restaurant Dispatch Person is responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders from the kitchen to service staff or delivery personnel. The role ensures order accuracy, efficient communication between departments, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Order Coordination
- Verify customer orders for accuracy before dispatch.
- Coordinate communication between the kitchen and service teams.
- Ensure food is packaged correctly and presented appropriately.
- Monitor order preparation times to facilitate timely delivery.
Dispatch Operations
- Organize and prioritize outgoing orders.
- Ensure prompt handover of orders to customers or delivery personnel.
- Monitor dispatch records and report discrepancies.
Customer Service
- Assist in resolving order-related issues promptly.
- Ensure customers receive complete and accurate orders.
Hygiene & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispatch area.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in restaurant operations, dispatch, or food service.
