Responsibilities or duties

The Research Grant Development Officer will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, developing compelling grant proposals, managing grant applications, and fostering relationships with potential funders. Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related discipline). A Master's degree is an added advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with strong research, analytical, and proposal writing abilities. Proficiency in grant management software and databases is desirable.

Experience needed

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or resource mobilization, preferably within an academic or non-profit setting. Proven track record of successfully securing research grants.
