KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays and other radiographic examinations as requested by physicians.
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and explain the process to ensure cooperation and comfort.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure radiation protection and adhere to established safety standards and protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Ensure proper care, maintenance, and reporting of faults in radiology equipment.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures within the radiology department
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Radiography / Medical Imaging. Bachelors Degree in the mentioned courses is an added advantage
- Valid professional license from the relevant regulatory body
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2-3 years relevant working experience in a hospital
- Knowledge of radiation safety standards and imaging protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism

- Attention to detail
- Technical competence in imaging equipment
- Patient care and communication skills
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to work under pressure
