Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is a consultancy services company incorporated under the laws of Kenya.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict compliance with quality standards across all incoming raw materials, active production processes, and finished goods.
  • Conduct detailed inspections and quality checks during extrusion, printing, lamination, bag making, and other related manufacturing processes.
  • Identify non-conformities, recommend effective corrective actions, and track all quality issues through to final closure.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and technical documentation in strict accordance with ISO requirements.
  • Verify and ensure the implementation of all approved product specifications during the production cycle.
  • Oversee the calibration, verification, and maintenance of measuring and monitoring equipment while maintaining detailed related records.
  • Work closely with the Production and Quality teams to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Hold a Degree or Diploma in Industrial Chemistry, Quality Assurance, Material Science, or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 4 years' experience working in the flexible packaging or manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in quality systems and standards such as BRCGS and ISO.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of production processes including Extrusion, Flexo, Gravure, bag making, lamination, and special pouching.
  • Apply technical knowledge of material characteristics for PET, BOPP, CPP, and other relevant substrates.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address production and quality challenges.
  • Ensure comprehensive maintenance of quality records to support audit readiness and process transparency.
  • Implement product specifications consistently throughout the entire production workflow.
  • Execute accurate calibration and verification of quality measuring equipment to ensure data precision.
