Quality Control Inspector (Automotive)-40k

Our client, a reputable manufacturing company, is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure that products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout all stages of the production process using approved inspection procedures and checklists.
- Verify that finished products comply with approved drawings, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings and communicate quality requirements to production teams.
- Approve or reject work based on established quality standards.
- Identify quality defects, non-conformities, and process gaps requiring corrective action.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring quality issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Work closely with production teams to implement corrective and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, defect reports, and corrective action documentation.
- Prepare and submit periodic quality inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Promote adherence to workplace health and safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one (1) year of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing, fabrication, automotive, or related industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and record management.
