Background
If you're the kind of person who notices the one defective item in a full batch… who believes systems should work, documents should be accurate, and standards should be non-negotiable — this role has your name on it.
As our Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will be the engine behind our quality systems — designing robust processes, enforcing compliance, leading audits, and shaping a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility. You'll champion continuous improvement and ensure that our products, people, and processes meet the highest standards.
You'll Love This Role If You…
- Enjoy creating order, structure, and clarity in fast-moving environments
- Believe in building systems that prevent problems — not just fixing them
- Love collaborating across departments (production, procurement, supply chain, operations, etc.)
- Thrive when you're leading audits, improving SOPs, and guiding teams
- Get satisfaction from seeing metrics move — lower defects, better hygiene scores, stronger compliance
You'll Struggle Here If You…
- Prefer environments with little documentation or loose processes
- Avoid conflict — you'll need to question, challenge, and enforce standards
- Dislike audits, reporting, or deep dives into root-cause analysis
- Want a purely desk job — this requires floor presence and cross-department engagement
- Get overwhelmed by multiple tasks, deadlines, and departmental demands
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Food Science, or related field
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or similar certification (added advantage)
- Strong background in QA, compliance, process improvement, and audits
- Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to solve problems, influence teams, and maintain high standards
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations
- Identify gaps within production, operations, and supply chain
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits
- Coordinate external audits and ensure non-conformities are resolved
- Monitor supplier quality and collaborate to resolve issues
- Improve customer satisfaction and manage quality-related complaints
- Build and sustain a culture of quality and accountability
- Work cross-functionally with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, and Operations
- Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to solve problems, influence teams, and maintain high standards
- Strong background in QA, compliance, process improvement, and audits
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Food Science, or related field
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or similar certification (added advantage)
