Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the selected candidate will entail:
- Develop and maintain user interfaces for the AIMS web-based and mobile applications.
- Participate in requirements gathering and translate system requirements and user stories into functional user interface designs in compliance with branding requirements.
- Ensure system usability, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
- Conduct frontend testing, bug fixing, and performance optimization.
- Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide system documentation including user manuals, technical manuals and interface guides.
- Support change management and version control for frontend components.
- Provide user support during system rollout, training, and deployment.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualization components.
- Monitor and improve system user experience based on feedback.
- Participate in change management and rollout of system updates and releases. Page 7 of 7
- Provide regular reports & documentations and any other task as required by the component III coordinator. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Component III Coordinator or Project Management
Academic and Professional Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or ICT related field.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in ICT, frontend development or web application development.
- Additional training or certification in web design, UI/UX, or frontend frameworks, databases, cyber security is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated results in work performance
- Proficiency in Computer applications
- Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
