Company Description

Our client is looking for a Production Supervisor/Assistant Plant manager ​who Oversee daily manufacturing operations ,Supervise daily production activities to ensure targets are met efficiently -Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet deadlines.

Job Description

Key Performance Areas

  • 1. Implement cost-effective manufacturing processes.
  • 2. Manage and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals.
  • 3. Conduct training programs to enhance team skills and productivity.
  • 4. Enforce workplace discipline and resolve conflicts among employees.
  • 5. Ensure all products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
  • 6. Work closely with the quality control team to address production issues.
  • 7. Implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality output.
  • 8. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the production area.
  • 9. Conduct safety training and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • 10. Maintain compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
  • 11. Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with procurement.
  • 12. Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and production costs.
  • 13. Analyse production data to identify areas for process improvement.
  • 14. Prepare and submit reports on production performance and efficiency.
  • 15. Assist in implementing new technologies and automation where necessary.
  • NB/ and any other duty or responsibilities assigned to you.

Qualifications

Qualification and Experience.

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • • Proficiency in production planning and inventory control
