Pre-Sales Engineer
Job Summary
The Pre-Sales Engineer will provide technical expertise throughout the sales process, helping customers understand the value and functionality of the company's technology solutions and ensuring proposed solutions meet their technical and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements.
- Design and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, specifications, and presentations.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept sessions, and technical presentations.
- Respond to technical aspects of tenders, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
- Translate customer requirements into practical and commercially viable solutions.
- Support solution costing and preparation of quotations.
- Conduct technical research and stay updated on relevant technologies.
- Work with implementation and technical-support teams to ensure smooth handover of projects.
- Provide technical clarification throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- Experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, systems integration, or technical consulting is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of technology solutions and system architecture.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Customer-oriented and commercially aware.
