**JOB TITLE:** Power Plant Engineer/foreman
**Experience:** 7 – 10 years
**Qualification:** Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
**Desired Experience:** Operation and Maintenance of HFO based generators
**Location:** Berbera, Somaliland

## Responsibilities
- Maintenance of all mechanical equipment (generators, heavy oil handling system).
- Preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Ensuring maximum availability of the equipment.
- Maintaining lubrication schedule.
- Maintaining essential spares.
- To train maintenance team to ensure that maintenance is done timely and correctly.
- To ensure proper housekeeping of job areas and plant in general.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in electrical engineering.

## Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience as a power plant operation & maintenance engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of power generation equipment.
- Familiarity with CAD and other design software.
- Creative thinking and innovation.
- Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Great interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
