Nexia Pharmacy is a trusted community pharmacy located in Utawala, dedicated to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care, genuine medications, and expert healthcare advice to our patients.
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our team in Utawala. The ideal candidate must be enrolled and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) and will be responsible for dispensing medications, offering patient counseling, and managing daily pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Medication Dispensing: Accurately interpret prescriptions and dispense over-the-counter and prescription medications.
- Patient Consultation: Provide clear guidance to patients regarding dosage, usage, potential side effects, and proper drug storage.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track product expiry dates, and assist with inventory reconciliation and reordering.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Customer Service: Deliver professional, compassionate, and efficient service to all clients visiting the facility.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
- Licensing: Must be enrolled and actively licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) Kenya.
- Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and sound ethical judgment.
