Responsibilities or duties
Partner support and guidance
- Provide quality control on partner documentation and support partners in improving financial management
- Ensure adoption and use of ACTED templates for IPs/CSOs
- Follow up on partner compliance and proper documentation of expenses
- Track partner progress regularly and maintain follow-up
Reporting and compliance
- Maintain an updated and accurate database of all IPs/CSOs, including financial reports, agreements, and amendments
- Review partner financial reports and ensure timely submission
- Prepare cashbooks and upload approved reports into the accounting system
- Archive all partner financial records properly for audit and reference
- Assist in drafting partnership agreements, including SGAs, Teaming Agreements, and MoUs
Internal coordination
- Ensure accuracy of data in compliance with ACTED and donor guidelines
- Support risk mitigation follow-up with partners and identify capacity gaps
- Participate in partner capacity building exercises
- Assist in preparing presentations for Kick-Off Meetings (KOM) and Close-Out Meetings (COM)
Other responsibilities
- Promote and adhere to the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy and guidelines
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Senior Finance Officer
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Required qualifications and experience
- First degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in grant management, finance, or compliance (INGO experience is highly desirable)
- Knowledge of project/donor compliance and sub-grant management
- Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Fluent in English
