Role Overview
Sierra Premium Breweries Ltd is seeking an experienced Packaging & Maintenance Lead to provide technical and operational leadership across packaging, utilities, and maintenance operations. This role is responsible for driving asset reliability, production efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead packaging operations, utilities, and plant maintenance to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Implement and improve structured maintenance and asset management systems.
- Drive line efficiency, equipment reliability, and loss reduction across production units.
- Lead commissioning of new equipment, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Provide hands-on technical support in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and breakdown prevention.
- Manage preventive, planned, and annual maintenance activities.
- Monitor and report on key KPIs including machine efficiency, downtime, energy, and water usage.
- Lead and develop technical teams through coaching, performance management, and skills development.
- Manage spare parts availability, technical procurement, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field with 5+ years’ experience, or
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field with 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing or packaging environments.
- Strong exposure to packaging lines and utilities (boilers, glycol systems, CIP, water treatment).
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety systems.
- Experience with maintenance systems, automation, and performance reporting.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
