Job Summary:

Gertrude's Children's Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Oncology Tutor to coordinate paediatric oncology training by delivering theoretical and clinical instruction, assessing student performance, and ensuring curriculum compliance with Nursing Council standards. The successful candidate will also maintain clinical competence and contribute to quality improvement, audits, and research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate paediatric oncology training.
  • Deliver theoretical and clinical instruction to students.
  • Assess student performance and ensure curriculum compliance with Nursing Council standards.
  • Maintain clinical competence.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, audits, and research.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) .
  • Higher National Diploma in Oncology/Paediatric Oncology Nursing or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year working experience as a Tutor.
  • Certification as a TVET instructor is desirable and an added advantage.
  • Certificate in any Paediatric Resuscitation skills will be an added advantage.
  • Valid Nursing Council of Kenya Practice license.
  • Nursing Council of Kenya Registration Certificate.

Salary:

Competitive (commensurate with experience)
