Trainee Planter Program - Occupational Health, Safety & Welfare

Role Summary: Dedicated to creating a zero-harm environment. This role ensures that all estate operations (field and factory) comply with local and international safety standards and promote worker well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Assessments: Conduct regular hazard identification and risk assessments for all operational tasks (e.g., spraying chemicals, operating machinery).

PPE Management: Ensure the availability, issuance, and correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment for all staff.

Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.

First Aid & Medical: Oversee the estate health centers, coordinate first aid training, and manage worker compensation claims.

Welfare Audits: Regularly inspect worker housing, sanitation, and drinking water facilities to ensure compliance with human rights standards.
