Job Summary
Amentum is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support our operations in various international locations. The NP will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role requires a highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professional who can work independently and as part of a team in challenging environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including common illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and other therapies.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with established standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or similar setting.
- Experience working in diverse or remote settings is a plus.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload effectively.
- Willingness to travel and work in international locations.
