The Public Service Commission is a constitutional commission mandated to establish and abolish offices in the public service, appoint persons to hold or act in public offices, promote values and principles of public service, and ensure efficient, effective, ethical, and citizen-centred service delivery across government institutions. The latest recruitment targets several institutions including public universities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Department for Correctional Services, the National Treasury and Economic Planning, and other government agencies.
Responsibilities or duties
The Board Member will participate in providing strategic direction and governance oversight for the National Government Constituencies Development Fund. Responsibilities include contributing to policy formulation, reviewing organizational performance, supporting financial oversight, strengthening governance frameworks, promoting accountability, participating in Board deliberations, and ensuring prudent management of public resources. The position supports effective implementation of NG-CDF programmes and projects across the country.
