Role Context

Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of a client in the food manufacturing industry, is recruiting a Mechanical Technician to support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of factory machinery.

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who understands manufacturing environments and takes pride in safe, accurate, and timely mechanical work.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in manufacturing or factory machinery
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
• Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and reduce downtime
• Experience working with rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, and packaging machines
• Good organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 48

Level of Education: associate degree
