We are looking to hire a Manager - Regulatory & Public Policy to join our team at Wananchi. This role will collaborate with the Wananchi Regulatory Affairs Department, supporting all entities within the Wananchi Group across different jurisdictions.

The Manager will be instrumental in managing the company's interactions with regulators, influencing policy decisions, interpreting intricate regulations, and driving Wananchi's business goals forward.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex policy information to diverse audiences. Analytical & Research: Ability to analyze data, assess impacts of legislation, and research policy issues to support strategic development. Strategic Thinking: Develop and implement successful strategies that align with organizational goals and navigate complex regulatory environments. Interpersonal & Negotiation: Strong skills in building relationships, influencing decision-makers, and advocating for organizational interests. Government & Policy Knowledge: Deep understanding of government processes, legislative frameworks, and public policy issues. Project Management: Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues within regulatory and policy frameworks.
