Job Purpose

To safeguard company assets, minimize operational losses, and enhance security effectiveness through continuous surveillance monitoring, vehicle tracking management, dispatch oversight, fuel control monitoring, and incident reporting from the control room.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Advanced CCTV Surveillance & Monitoring

  • Monitor all CCTV cameras covering production, warehouse, dispatch, fuel station, and perimeter.
  • Detect internal theft and process violations.
  • Ensure camera positioning is not tampered with.
  • Conduct random footage reviews for audit purposes.
  • Escalate blind spots or technical failures immediately.

Fuel Monitoring & Control

  • Monitor fueling activities via CCTV and fuel logs.
  • Detect:
    • Excess fueling
    • Unauthorized fueling
    • Fuel siphoning
  • Reconcile documented fuel vs. actual fuel issued.
  • Prepare weekly fuel variance reports.
  • Recommend disciplinary action where negligence is proven.

Vehicle Tracking & Fleet Risk Control

  • Monitor GPS tracking system in real time.
  • Detect:
    • Route deviation
    • Unauthorized stops
    • Speed violations
    • Fuel irregularities
  • Generate daily fleet movement reports.
  • Coordinate recovery in case of vehicle breakdown .
  • Maintain tracking system database.

Incident Management & Investigation

  • Record all incidents in Occurrence Book (OB).
  • Conduct preliminary investigations.
  • Collect CCTV evidence.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports including:
    • Root cause analysis
    • Impact assessment
    • Recommendations
  • Follow up on corrective action implementation.

Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure SOP adherence in dispatch, production, and warehouse.
  • Identify control weaknesses.
  • Recommend system improvements.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure confidentiality of surveillance data.

Emergency Response Coordination

  • Respond to fire alarms and security breaches.
  • Coordinate with on-ground security teams.
  • Inform management and emergency services when necessary.
  • Guide evacuation procedures through communication systems.

Authority Level

  • Authority to stop suspicious dispatch or fueling.
  • Authority to escalate non-compliance directly to management.
  • Authority to recommend suspension in case of serious misconduct.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • % Reduction in operational losses
  • Number of incidents detected proactively
  • Accuracy of reports submitted
  • Response time to incidents
  • Compliance rate in dispatch & fuel procedures
  • System uptime and reporting speed for faults

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in:
    • Criminology
    • Security Management
    • Risk Management
    • Business Administration
  • 2–5 years’ experience in:
    • CCTV monitoring
    • GPS tracking
    • Dispatch monitoring
    • Loss control in manufacturing/retail

Technical Skills Required

  • CCTV systems (Hikvision, Dahua, etc.)
  • GPS tracking software
  • Microsoft Excel (reporting & reconciliation)
  • Incident reporting systems
  • Basic data analysis
