Client & Business Support
Ensure client testing requirements are fully met and agreed turnaround times are achieved.
Respond to client enquiries professionally and promptly.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service quality, efficiency, and profitability.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology & Biotechnology or Biochemistry
Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in a multi-purpose ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited testing laboratory
Progressive experience starting as a Laboratory Analyst and advancing into supervisory or assistant management roles within an ISO/IEC 17025 testing laboratory environment.
Previous employment in more than one independent testing laboratory (food, water, environmental, industrial, inspection-based testing)
Proven experience supervising and managing laboratory teams of at least 10-20 analysts
Registered Technical Signatory with a national accreditation body for a minimum of 3 years
Certified ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Internal Auditor with practical audit experience.
Strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, HACCP, HSE, and accreditation body requirements.
Proven capability in method development, validation, and verification
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment including incubators, ovens, autoclaves, and biosafety cabinets familiarity with ISO/IEC 17020 (Inspection Bodies) is an added advantage.
Please note: Experience limited to clinical, hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or research-only laboratories does NOT meet the requirements for this role.
