JOB DETAILS:

The Inspector I (Mechanical) is responsible for inspecting mechanical installations and equipment to ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations.

• Inspections: Conduct inspections of mechanical installations, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Testing & Commissioning: Witness and verify testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure proper installation and functioning.
• Defect Identification: Identify and report defects, non-compliance, or safety hazards in mechanical installations.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and compliance certificates.
• Technical Advice: Provide technical advice to engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders on mechanical safety and standards.
• Safety Enforcement: Enforce safety regulations and issue compliance notices as necessary.
• Supervision: Supervise junior inspectors and technicians as assigned.
