Responsibilities or duties
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: -
- Verifying information relating to recruitment, appointments, promotions, transfers and human resource management information systems;
- Processing cases for the County Human Resource Management Advisory Committee;
- Assisting in Implementation of human resource management decisions within existing rules, regulations and procedures; and
- Supervising and guiding clerical staff in the Division/Section.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Planning, Personnel Management, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya; and
- Certificate in Computer Application from a recognized institution.
