KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate the recruitment and embedding process for new employees; including casual staff.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Take ownership of payroll administration and benefits management, ensuring timely and precise processing.
  • Prepare and submit monthly HR reports to management, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Initiate and oversee staff training and development programmes, promoting continuous learning.
  • Coordinate and manage disciplinary processes in line with company policy, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Handle employee queries and provide clear guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions about benefits, payroll and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A Diploma in Human Resources Management will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in human resources or administrative roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and pro-active in nature with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HMS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • An excellent team player.
  • Strong time management & decision-making skills.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Show a willingness & ability to learn quickly.
  • IT Savvy, with proven experience navigating and utilising a variety of digital platforms, software, and systems relevant to human resources and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving digital tools is essential.
