Job summary

In your role as HR Liaison Officer, you are an integral part of our core Operations Team at Umoja Fanisi. HR Field Liaison Officer serves as a communication link between Human Resources department and operations department in the field/branches and plays an integral role in the coordination of human resources activities.

Job descriptions & requirements

  • Follow up 100% new overdue and help branch team to recover amounts from all the overdue clients at the branch you are deployed.
  • Analyse and follow up on the overdue in the OPUS system
  • Train all branch members on the techniques of delinquency management
  • Conduct PSO trainings when need be
  • Send reports to HOO stating the list of overdue clients visited and money collected.
  • Train staff how to use the OPUS and HR systems and offer assistance were need be.
  • Train new employees on the policies, benefits and how to enroll for them.
  • Redirect employees to appropriate HR benefits and other benefits as per company policy.
  • Assist employees with leave request questions i.e. Sick leave, maternity etc
  • Prepare and monitor maternity leave documentation and process
  • Monitor leave balances at branches
  • Assist with new employee onboarding
  • Performance evaluation; Assist managers with the performance management process including goal setting and completing. Three months reviews, probation and annual performance reviews.
  • Build supervisor/employee relationships at branches
  • Assist employees with HR or payroll related complaints
  • Ensure exit forms and SACCO claim forms have been filled in, signed and all company documents have been handed in.
  • Monitor compliance with required or other training completions.
  • Identify employee training needs and share with the HR team
  • Communicate with supervisors /management if employees that need contract renewals
  • Assist with WIBA, report employee injuries and submit the necessary documents to HR for additional information related to work injuries.
