Background

Our client in the education industry based in Kiserian, Kajjado county is seeking a responsible, vigilant, and experienced Head of Security to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the institution's safety and security operations. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe learning and working environment for students, staff, and visitors, in line with the school's standards and values.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the security team.
• Oversee CCTV operations and manage security systems.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Monitor campus safety, respond to emergencies, and maintain order.
• Train staff on safety protocols and emergency response.
• Maintain security records and reports.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and local authorities as required

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field.
• Computer literate, experienced in CCTV management.
• Minimum 3 years experience in school or campus security leadership.
• Strong leadership, crisis management, and communication skills.
