WHAT YOU'LL DO

Brand Strategy & Identity

  • Own and evolve ARC Ride's brand strategy — ensuring our positioning, voice, and visual identity stay coherent, ambitious, and true across every market we operate in
  • Develop and enforce brand guidelines that creative teams, partners, and vendors can execute with confidence
  • Audit and continuously raise the quality of brand application across all channels: digital, print, out-of-home, events, product, and partner comms
  • Translate business milestones and product developments into compelling brand narratives
  • Creative Leadership
  • Lead, manage, and grow an in-house creative team spanning design, copywriting, video, and social content
  • Set creative direction for campaigns, brand activations, and content series — from concept through execution
  • Commission and brief external agencies, photographers, videographers, and production partners when needed
  • Build a creative culture grounded in craft, accountability, and African perspective

Communications & Content

  • Oversee ARC Ride's social media manger - communications across LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, and emerging platforms — with platform-native strategy for each
  • Lead the production of high-quality editorial, video, and visual content that grows our audience and deepens brand trust
  • Manage PR relationships, press releases, media partnerships, and thought leadership positioning for the company and its leadership
  • Own communications for key company moments: product launches, market expansions, partnerships, and fundraises

Stakeholder & Executive Communications

  • Support the CEO and leadership team with presentations, investor materials, conference keynotes, and public-facing communications
  • Partner with the commercial and partnerships teams to ensure brand integrity in co-branded and B2B communications
  • Represent the brand externally — at industry events, in media, and with strategic partners

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Track Record

  • 5+ years in brand, communications, or creative leadership — with at least 3 years managing a team
  • Demonstrable experience building or significantly evolving a brand identity, including visual systems and brand guidelines
  • A strong portfolio spanning brand strategy, design direction, and multi-channel content — ideally in a high-growth or category-defining company
  • Experience working in or with African markets; pan-African perspective is a strong advantage
  • Background in design or design management — you don't need to be a practitioner, but you must speak the language fluently

Visual literacy: a trained eye for layout, typography, photography, and motion that can elevate creative work in real time

Strategic thinker who can move from big-picture brand architecture to the copy on a social post without losing coherence
