Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Commercial Operations to lead our commercial strategy and execution in Kenya. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key partnerships, and ensuring the successful delivery of our insurance products to our target market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Manage and grow existing distribution channels.
- Oversee the sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform commercial strategies.
- Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales and onboarding process.
- Collaborate with product development and operations teams to ensure product-market fit.
- Manage the commercial budget and P&L for the Kenyan market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record in commercial leadership roles, preferably in the insurance or fintech sector.
- Strong understanding of the Kenyan market and its dynamics.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role.
