Job Title: Hairstylist

Department: Hair Services

Reports to: Salon Manager / Creative Director

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and passionate Hairstylist to join our team. You will be responsible for listening to client needs, performing technical hair services, and staying ahead of trends to keep our clientele looking their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Services: Perform haircuts, styling, coloring (highlights, balayage, roots), and chemical treatments (perms, relaxers, keratin).
  • Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations to understand client goals and assess hair health.
  • Retail: Recommend and sell professional hair care products to maintain client hair health between visits.
  • Sanitation: Sterilize all tools and maintain a clean workstation in compliance with health regulations.
  • Education: Attend ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new techniques and products.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state cosmetology license.
  • Proven experience in cutting and coloring techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build a loyal client following.
