Background

We are hiring on behalf of our client, Buildher, a leading workforce development organisation empowering women in Kenya. This strategic, hands-on role is key to driving institutional fundraising, securing partnerships, and strengthening Buildher's visibility and impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and manage a strong donor pipeline aligned with gender inclusion, workforce development, and green construction.
  • Identify, secure, and manage corporate, material, tool, and equipment partners, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Lead proposal development, grant management, reporting, and high-value donor engagements.
  • Plan and oversee development events, stakeholder communications, and social media campaigns.
  • Support the CEO and Board with materials, briefings, and follow-ups to advance board-linked fundraising priorities.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5–8 years' experience in fundraising, partnerships, communications, or external relations within international development, social enterprise, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to secure USD 100,000+ in grants, partnerships, or sponsorships.
  • Skilled in strategic communication, social media strategy, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Passion for driving social impact and advancing women's empowerment through workforce development.
