French with Geography/History Teacher (Cambridge Curriculum)
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and highly competent educator to teach French together with Geography and/or History under the Cambridge Curriculum. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, support student development, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and holistic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in French and Geography/History in line with the Cambridge Curriculum.
Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with curriculum requirements.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Integrate ICT effectively into classroom instruction.
Student Assessment & Support
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Identify learning gaps and implement targeted interventions.
Maintain accurate records of student performance.
Classroom Management & Student Welfare
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Maintain discipline and promote positive behaviour.
Support students’ social, emotional, and personal development.
Encourage resilience, independence, and a growth mindset.
Communication & Collaboration
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Communicate student progress and concerns effectively.
Work collaboratively with staff to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Professional & Administrative Duties
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
Contribute to the wider school community and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform administrative and organizational duties as assigned.
Undertake any other duties as directed by the Head of Curriculum.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Education specializing in French and Geography/History from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience in the Cambridge Curriculum.
Strong understanding of Cambridge Primary and/or Lower Secondary frameworks and assessments.
Proficiency in ICT integration in the classroom.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
