Job Purpose:
Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career in finance? Our client is seeking a motivated and teachable Finance Intern to join their accounting department.
The Finance Intern will support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, improving reporting processes, and ensuring smooth daily financial operations. This internship is ideal for a self-driven individual eager to learn, grow professionally, and gain hands-on experience in core accounting and finance functions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Process invoices by verifying financial data and ensuring timely payments.
- Support in managing accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, reconciliation, and follow-ups.
- Work with accounting and bookkeeping software as required.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive financial information.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to compile, analyze, and track financial information.
- Take on additional tasks and projects to gain exposure across various finance and office functions.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (Second Class Upper) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must have completed CPA Section 1 & 2.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have graduated in 2024 or be graduating in 2025.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and eagerness to learn.
