Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is a consultancy services company incorporated under the laws of Kenya.
Responsibilities or duties
- Coordinate daily operations across Rooms, F&B, and guest-facing departments, directly overseeing the F&B Manager and Front Office Manager.
- Assist the General Manager in enforcing hotel standards, budgets, SOPs, and key operational priorities.
- Track HOD performance, departmental action plans, staffing deployment, inspection routines, and service standards.
- Lead daily and weekly operational briefings, ensuring flagged operational issues are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
- Manage guest feedback, service recovery procedures, VIP visits, and cross-department execution during high-occupancy periods and major conferences/banquets.
- Review labor costs, rosters, cost-control initiatives, purchasing discipline, and revenue-improvement efforts alongside HODs.
- Act as senior operational decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager, escalating material financial, safety, or reputational risks appropriately.
Qualifications or requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, guest-service recovery, team management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in hotel systems, management reporting, and basic financial or cost-control analysis.
Experience needed
5-8 years of progressive hotel operations experience, including management-level responsibilities.
Proven track record in coordinating multi-department operations during high-volume banquet and conference events.
