JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary

The ECDE Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that promotes the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of young learners in accordance with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging ECDE lessons aligned with the CBC.
• Foster holistic development through play-based and child-centred learning.
• Assess learners and maintain accurate academic records.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents on learner progress.
• Participate in co-curricular and school activities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and positive learner behaviour.
• Ensure the welfare and safeguarding of all learners.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE).
• Registration with relevant authorities where applicable.
• Teaching experience is an added advantage.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
