Duties and Responsibilities:

Promoting cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development for children aged 3–6.

Preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning materials.

Conducting assessments and evaluations of learners.

Integrating play-based learning and creative arts.

Ensuring a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.

Managing classroom behavior and positive discipline.

Maintaining records of attendance, performance, and progress.

Communicating with parents and organizing parent-teacher meetings.

Requirements for Appointment:

Kenyan citizenship.

KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain) or equivalent.

Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education.

Basic Training in Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC/CBE).

Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

Proficiency in computer applications.

Fulfillment of Chapter Six (6) of the 2010 Constitution.

Note: Upgraded Diploma in ECDE or Special Needs Education is an added advantage
