Description

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled E-learning Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement engaging and effective digital learning solutions. You will work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to create high-quality e-learning content that meets educational goals and provides an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Course Development: Design, develop, and implement interactive e-learning courses and multimedia content using authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Vyond.
  • Graphic and Visual Design: Create visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and animations using Adobe Illustrator and other design software to enhance learning materials.
  • Content Integration: Develop and package courses according to SCORM standards for seamless integration with various Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Quality Assurance: Test, troubleshoot, and debug e-learning modules to ensure functionality, compatibility, and a smooth user experience across platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and project managers to align content with learning objectives and project timelines.
  • Content Enhancement: Utilize text-to-speech software and other multimedia tools to produce engaging audio-visual learning materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, e-learning technologies, and best practices in instructional and visual design.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Information Technology, Education, Graphical Arts, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in e-learning and multimedia development.
  • Intermediate proficiency in:
    • Articulate 360
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Vyond
    • Text-to-speech software
  • Solid understanding of SCORM standards and LMS integration, with hands-on experience in SCORM packaging and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to apply visual and instructional design principles to create effective and engaging learning experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent reading comprehension.
  • Flexibility to accommodate different shift schedules, including night shifts.
  • Must reside within or be willing to relocate to Kitengela, Athi River, or Mlolongo.
