Job Purpose

To ensure the safe, timely and efficient collection, handling, transportation and delivery of documents and other official items between the company, clients, government agencies, banks and other designated locations. The role requires the ability to operate both motorcycles and motor vehicles, while maintaining high standards of confidentiality, accountability, road safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, transport and deliver documents, correspondence, invoices, contracts and other official materials as assigned.
  • Safely operate company motorcycles and motor vehicles while observing all traffic and road safety regulations.
  • Ensure all documents collected or delivered are properly recorded, acknowledged and accounted for.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all documents and information handled.
  • Obtain signatures, stamps, receipts or other proof of delivery where required.
  • Make follow-ups on documents submitted to external offices and communicate feedback to the relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate daily movement, delivery and mileage records.
  • Conduct basic checks on assigned vehicles/motorcycles and promptly report defects or maintenance requirements.
  • Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and minimise unnecessary transport costs.
  • Assist with general office errands and administrative support when required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
  • Valid Kenyan Driving Licence – Class B for small cars and light vans
  • Valid Kenyan Motorcycle Riding Licence – Class A for motorbikes
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in driving, riding, courier services, document handling, logistics or a related role.
  • Experience in a corporate, logistics, clearing & forwarding or supply-chain environment is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of traffic rules and road safety.
  • Clean driving/riding record.
